They do exist but none have all the really neat stuff that the Galaxy has. If I want to throw it out in the parking lot and run it over with my car I should be allowed to do so. Seems like it would be a dumb thing to do as your making the device less user friendly. This practice should be illegal in my opinion as it puts a monopoly on accessories you can use with it. My backup hard drive decided to go on strike and to top it all off, right in the middle of my disaster, I have some website code that we malfunctioning and needed to be sorted urgently. Unfortunately, I may not have a choice in that I had hoped I could leave my laptop home when I am traveling and just backup my photos directly into the Galaxy. I just purchased a Galaxy Tablet. Again, it sees the mouse and keyboard, but will not connect. When I first discovered the On the Go cable, I used it extensively with the Galaxy Note phone and this little cable has saved me on many occasions and for the R50 they are well worth it. I plugged the On the Go Cable cable and into it I plugged in my wireless receiver which the Galaxy Note 8 instantly recognised. I posted an Amazon review last night.
It comes with a holder for the S Pen so you don't lose it. I keep thinking there is a crucial step that surely i must be overlooking, but no where on the net, or with the tech support do they allude to anything other then what I have been doing is to be required. The only working tech device I had on hand was the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. If I have to have my laptop to transfer the photos from there to the Galaxy, what's the point in having the tablet? I plan to email the Freedom Pro folks about this.
